Artist's Description
The original painting was named 'Our Lady of the Sign'. It depicts a beautiful and beatified mother in red ancient garb, with a halo-glowing child in front of her (Virgin Mary and Jesus child), among other traditional Christian Orthodox symbols. Both figures have their hands raised in an all-encompassing sign of blessing. It was painted in a non-traditional style, resembling Eastern Orthodox Iconography. The original was painted with acrylic on canvas, in vivid color nuances of red, yellow, green.
