Description
Bradford Pear White Flower Extreem Marcro with white blossom details, green, yellow stems and purple accents. Beautiful contemporary floral print wonder ful in a high key room, on pillows and home deco. Pyrus calleryana, the Callery pear, is a species of pear native to China. Bradford pear was introduced as an ornamental in 1964 by the US Department of Agriculture. The Bradford Tree lives about 20 years. It is an invasive tree and not recommended for planting. We live in the windy South Jersey and lost one Bradford Pear tree after a rather windy day. The good news is the tree missed our car. It took us days to remove the whole tree. Now every time it gets windy we wonder when the other trees will come down. The pear flowers are delicate and quite beautiful. In Spring out whole neighborhood is decorated in full white bloom. When they come to the end of their blossom cycle the pear blossom will look like snowflakes. In the fall and winter local birds come to eat the little sour pears. The pears are the size of a salt water perl.

Just beautiful, Iris - I had several flowering pear trees back in the 2000s & this captures the delicate beauty I remember from then - like/fav :)

Thank you, Bradford Pear trees and their blossoms are rather delicate. We lost a whole tree on a windy day here in South Jersey.
